Our History
Community Charitable Service Center was incorporated in Feb. 2002. The
idea of this organization started with the birth and the naming of the
founder, CEO and President, Mr. Vincent De Paul N. Ajagu.
Mr. Vincent De Paul N. Ajagu was born in Nigeria West Africa to
Late Mr. & Mrs. Richard O. Ajagu in the year 1963. Out of the ten
children of Late Mr. & Mrs. Richard O. Ajagu, Vincent De Paul is
the youngest of all.
At his birth, his parents were not sure what name to give him.
Vincent’s sisters looked at all religious books for a proper name for
him. Finally after a long search, they decided to name him Vincent De
Paul.
At a very young age, Vincent De Paul Ajagu started looking for a
meaning to his name. Hence he came to know that long lime ago, there
was a man named Vincent De Paul who was very rich and who devoted most
of his live helping the poor. Ever since then, Vincent De Paul Ajagu
wanted to impact the society in a similar way that St. Vincent De Paul
did long time ago.
While still attending college in San Jose State University for a
Business Degree, Vincent De Paul tried to start a non-profit
organization called De Paul Charities. The whole idea was to use his
International Business Degree to help poor people in Africa. This
organization did not go a long way mainly because of lack of practical
organizational skills and finances.
In 2002, Vincent De Paul Ajagu meet with his good friend Mr.
Raymond Chukwu who is a God fearing man, Businessman, husband, and a
Scientist. After getting to know him, he helped him to form this
Organization called Community Charitable Service Center.
